Useful Edge Drivers
Community drivers worth knowing about, alongside fingerprint-based search.
Each link opens the SmartThings channel invite page. Sign in with your Samsung account, accept the channel, then install the driver from the app.
1. Chromecast Audio driver

Connect Google speakers to SmartThings for announcements, similar to how Galaxy Home Mini works with broadcasting.
2. Tuya Window Shade driver

Budget Tuya motorized curtain motors may not show up in Edge driver search by fingerprint alone. After you install this driver and add the device in SmartThings, you can select the Tuya Window Shade driver for the motor and control the shade normally.
3. Virtual WOL Switch V1 driver

Turn on PCs, NAS units, and other devices on the same local network as your SmartThings Hub or Station. Uses Wake-on-LAN (WOL) magic packets.
4. Personal Tuya Devices — Generic EF00

For Tuya Zigbee devices that rely on the non-standard Tuya 0xEF00 cluster instead of normal ZCL clusters. Most Zigbee devices follow the Zigbee Cluster Library (ZCL): on/off on 0x0006, level on 0x0008, and so on. Many Tuya devices send everything through a single proprietary 0xEF00 cluster, so stock SmartThings Edge drivers often cannot read or control them. The Generic EF00 Device driver translates that Tuya traffic into SmartThings capabilities—especially via DP mapping in the app—so you can get devices working without waiting for a bespoke fingerprint match.
